The serpentine belt drives the alternator, power steering, water pump on many engines, and the A/C compressor. A failed belt typically leaves the vehicle without charging, power steering, and cooling — sometimes all at once.

What we check
Belt replacement is straightforward on most engines and a routine mobile job. We check the tensioner and pulleys at the same time — replacing only the belt when the tensioner is also worn is short money up front and a callback later.
A note on shop equipment
Some repairs cannot be completed safely at a mobile location. After the diagnostic, we will tell you whether the work can be done on-site or whether shop equipment is required, before any repair begins.
